chain of thought follows connected nodes, but it’s not that the connection is logical, but the existence of it. Any connection is possible, but a connection does not mean correct or logical.
For instance – tree and warms are connected – warms break organic material to provide nutrients for the tree’s roots to feed on, but neither trees, nor warms, come from one other. The logic is the description of this process – it can be reproduced and explained how and why it works or why it came to be.
*** replace with the example of vase and its connection to a woman’s body
*** or example of dropping a rock and the connection with what actually thinking is
logic / “follows” / chain of thought
if you let go of a rock – it logical to think that it will fall. However logic skips a few steps – the order of the events is:
– you let go of it rock
– if nothing else is supporting it or pushing it “up” then it starts to fall
– if nothing else interacts with it (apart from air/gravity) then it falls
logic is the expected, most likely outcome given the data you have. Of course it’s unlikely you’ll have all the information in the world so there can always be something unenpected (that was missing from the information u had) that will change the outcome
